HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TRAINING PEOPLE FOR?

I've been a trainer for over 3 years now. I've been working the business side of this industry for over 5 years.

 

WHAT TYPES OF TRAINING DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN?

I teach several HIIT (high intensity interval training) classes. I believe in educating my clients, giving helpful tips to promote a fit and healthy lifestyle. Encouraging others and to make fitness fun.

WHY DO YOU LOVE FITNESS/ PERSONAL TRAINING?

When I see positive changes happening with my clients - both physically and mentally. The best in when a client shares proudly their accomplishments that they completed thanks to their hard work in the gym. I also must admit, I enjoy when everyone's out of breath and exhausted and I say, "let's keep it going!"

 

HOW HAS FITNESS CHANGED YOUR LIFE?

I feel like I have better control over, at least, some aspects of my life. Not only am I healthier and live with less daily pain, but fitness has improved my outlook and overall affect. Being able to see myself in the mirror or a picture and feel like I'm proud to say, "that's me", is an amazing feeling.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES AND INTERESTS?

I am a self-proclaimed foodie and in my spare time I am a food and travel blogger. Shameless plug - follow me on Instagram. I am always learning and, thus, I have many interests. For athletics, I play and watch Basketball and I am planning a few 5ks in 2019.

 

WHY SHOULD SOMEONE GET PERSONAL TRAINING?

Personal Training is an investment into yourself. A basic gym membership may work for some, but if you've tried that over and over again without anything to show, you need to do some sort of personalized or group training. A trainer will put the workout together - one less thing for you to worry about - give you a scheduled date and time to just show up to, and give you motivation to keep going. Finding a trainer that you get along with and look forward to seeing is huge in hiring a trainer and always sit and meet with a trainer before the workout begins.
